A Grand Day Out

Yesterday the loonies escaped from the asylum and had a brilliant day out. Six of us went on the bus to watch a matinee performance of Agatha Christie’s ‘The Mousetrap’.

Gordon, Diane, Elaine and Paul commandeering the back seat of the 101 – like a bunch of naughty kids

Ray decided that he preferred his own company and quite frankly I don’t blame him!

We came back in the evening (via the Swan in Stone), collected another 4 escapees and went for pie night at the Three Crowns.

Gordon really won’t be left out – specially if there’s alcohol and pie involved!

A Feast of Pies – and the odd glass of wine!

When they eventually kicked us out of the pub we wobbled back to the marina and surrendered ourselves to matron having had an absolutely grand day out.
