A couple flights in a couple of days

We’ve done 24 locks in the past two days to get us back down the Atherstone flight and up the Curdworth flight ready for our final assault on the further 27 locks that will get us into the middle of Birmingham.

After slogging our way up the eleven Curdworth locks we moored up just past the tiny Curdworth Tunnel – a lovely spot for the night.

Early to bed ready to set out fresh for the real slog up the 27 locks that will bring us into Birmingham.
